Aberystwyth Angling Association

Catch and release only on Ystwyth after July 31st
Aberystwyth Angling Association offers both expert and novice game fisher exciting sport in some of the most unspoilt and scenic countryside in Wales.
Fish for native brown trout on one of our nine lakes, using fly, spinner or worm (depending on which lake). During the coch-y-bonddu season the lakes can literally boil with fish!
Try your hand at night time fishing for double-figure sea trout, or sewin as it's known in Wales, on 16 miles of the rivers Rheidol and Ystwyth
You also have the chance to catch a salmon straight from the Irish Sea!
Want to get away from it all, stay in beautiful countryside and have fishing on your doorstep? Why not book one of our two modern caravans where you will have all of this and share the fishing on the lake with the other caravan dwellers for four days of the week when not even the locals are allowed to fish!
